Evolving pipeline leak detection in methodological background leads to combined multi-parametric approaches based on independent information sources such as mass balance & pressure monitors. Leak detection monitoring is considered as a component of thoroughly adjusted pipeline control system in this paper. The Functional Diagnostics of Oil Pipeline Operating Modes identifies all operating deviation in hilly terrain pipeline and reveals probable reasons why it occurs. It's able to find some balanced proportions of quantitative estimations for five eategories of deviations: leakage, waxy deposit, gas & water congestions (slugs) and so called "immobile bodies in pipe" which are incorporated in the adaptive pipeline model as adjustable parameters. The functional diagnostics is a top methodology of intelligent control system applying self-adjusting operational pipeline modal toward the solution for appreciably improvement of accuracy, rapidity and reliability of leak detection.

The given work introduces the results of creating a filtration model of A556 oil layer section, Mamontovskoye oilfield, a model taking into account the cross-linked polymer systems in-fluence on the layer. The hydrodynarnic model has been generated in Eclipse Office (Sclflumber-ger GeoQuest). All calculations for the computing experiment have been run using Eclipse-lOU simulator.

Comparison of well hydraulics between conventional rotary drilling and casing drilling

Casing drilling is an emerging technology for drilling and casing as well simultaneously. This process eliminates drill-string tripping and is more cost-efficient and safer than conventional rotary drilling. It can cut the time required to drill a well by 20 to 30%, helps avoid unscheduled events (kicks, unintentional sidetracks, casing wear, hole problems due to swab and surge pressures, and formations of sloughing and swelling) and reduces costs. Using this technology the casing is used to transmit mechanical and hydraulic energy to the bit, instead of using a conventional drill-string. The first kind of casing drilling is a casing used and rotated as a conventional drill-string with a fixed bit on its end. The other kind is when the casing is positioned on the lower end of the conventional drill-string which is retrieved with a wireline to access bits, engines, underreamers, MWD/LWD, and other components while leaving the casing in place.

Emulsions, based in oil, have no alternative, when boring wells are drilled through the unstable shales. However, the application of invert-emulsion drilling mud would made appropriate result, if the muds stable kept in borehole conditions. The emulsifier-stabilizer SET-l M was developed by us, in aim to solve invert-emulsion muds stabilization problem effectively. It is evideafly proved by the results of comparative tests, which are shown in the article.

This article describes the technique surface dynamometer analysis, if the rod kinematics and the plunger modeled efforts are stated. The given technique allows to model various operating pumps conditions, and also to investigate the influence of kinematical and geometrical parameters of the rod pumps equipment to the surface dynamometer cards sight. This articles part describes the efforts plunger model in case of normal pumps conditions. The account of surface and subsurface dynamometer card are in article. As result the satisfactory conformity of experimental data for efforts on a rod pumping well with settlement was achieved at the normal equipment operation.

A well, equipped by a cyclic gas lift unit, together with a water-encroached bottom-hole formation zone and a complex of surface communications represents a complicated geological-engineering system, and the simulation of its operation is a sufficiently non-easy mathematical problem. One linear identification equation, a system of two non-linear equations (a modification of the known free-running model of Lotka-Volterra, widely used to describe self-structured systems) are used in this article to simulate this system, operating under the drive of forced vibrations. It was also planned the ways for receiving a non-linear dynamic model with a "three-dimensional phase portrait".

For the pipelines exploited in difficult engineering-geological conditions in the cases of the project position violation, bending deflections may be commensurable with the pipeline radius. In this case the loadings acting on a pipeline are redistributed depending on its deformation, which is unknown. It makes the problem linearly unsolved. Linear setting of the problem also makes the investigation of stress-deformation state of a pipeline which consists of linear pipes and curved parts impossible, because stresses from the longitudinal forces will be inconstant for some parts of this pipeline. The mathematical model of a pipeline, deformed in together with the elastic and elastic-plastic soil, under the influence of the exploitation loadings and changing climatic conditions has been worked out in the given paper.

Stress-corrosion cracking of underground pipelines under conditions of variable operation factors is synergetic phenomenon. It is the result of growing of unbalanced processes, which take place in complex open system «gas flow-pipeline-corroding layer-ground (capillary porous body)-ground electrolyte-air space» under the action of thermal-motive power. It was proved by a number of experiments, that pipe metal corrosion velocity increases in 6.9 - 11.2 times under the impulse temperature condition as a result of superposition of various effects. We consider the stabilization of heat-hydraulic gas pipeline mode to be a method of stress-corrosion control.

Mathematical models of the complex non-isothermal pipeline

Mathematical models of the pipeline stationary operating conditions, shutdown (cooling) and starting conditions (resumption of pumping) are offered. These models are based on the consistent solution of non-linear equations of motion and energy in partial derivatives by finite differences method. The distinguishing feature of the proposed method is solving the problem in 2D-statement (by pipeline radius and length), and this makes the calculations much more precise. The offered procedure was applied to calculate the following oil pipelines: Kumkol-Karakom-Sliymkent, Usa-Ubta and others. The offered mathematical models allow to describe various operating conditions of the oil pipelines and to ensure their safe and reliable operation.

By intensively swirling cement slurry flow it is possible to realize centrifugal separation of it with reception of phases of higher and lower solid content at which the first is directed into an intake bed to isolate it while the second - away of plugging zone. тChanges in density on the radius of the vortex chamber occurs on exponential law. At the small sizes of solid particles and low inlet velocities separation process goes inefficiently. Appreciably it begins only at the particle size above 10 mcm and inlet velocities over 20 m/s. With increase in the particle sizes and inlet velocities the separation process amplifies, and influence of the particle size upon the process is much stronger than that of inlet velocity. In rigidly rotating suspension of the cement slurry the separation process goes more intensively comparing to that when it rotates at variable velocity. From here it follows that intensity of the process in centrifugas, providing other conditions same, will be higher than in hydrocyclones.

Treatment of industrial wastewaters from heavy metals ions

The removal of heavy metals ions from industrial wastewaters by means of a biochemical method, based on the anaerobic sulfate reduction, is a promising alternative compared to commonly used methods of treatment based on the addition of a chemical sulfide agent. Based on an extensive literature research, advantages and shortcomings of different biochemical techniques for treatment of industrial wastewaters have been revealed. A simplified biochemical technique for the removal of heavy metals ions from wastewaters as well as from the spent concentrated electrolytes from galvanization processes has been developed. This technique has been tested under laboratory conditions on model type solutions with the concentration of zinc ions up to 1200 mg/l. The test results have confirmed the effectiveness of this technology. Laboratory studies of sulfate reduction in a series of two bioreactors with a fixed bed were carried out to determine the maximum load concerning glycerin and zinc for the selected consortium of anaerobic microorganisms.

Arithmometerical description of visible bounce manifestations (longitisdal and striking) shows that the base notions of classical physics - impulse, force and power (defined as crono-geometrical to constants of motion as vector-differential to the calculation method and as power-force to understanding of causality) is complemented by method of special double dimensionality numbers, which are differring from real in principle. It is shown that an apparatus of rate setting of physical-arithmetical relationships, as metrological base of method, is operational equivalent to internal arithmetic of recursive rows by Fihonacci and Luca. There is possibthty to use this arithmetic, having quantum exhibit, for mathematical modeling of functioning

About the influence of the temperature dependence viscosity on the liquids flow

The definition of the objective laws of the fluids flow with the variable physical parameters is the important problem of theoretical hydrodynamics and its applications in oil refinery. This paper deals with the numerical modelling results of the liquids flow with temperature dependent viscosity in heat exchanger's channel. The hydrodynamical parameters distributions have been obtained by the calculations both in cooling and heating channels. The phenomena of jump-like dependence of liquids discharge versus pressure drop has been exlained.
